You walked into the building. Instantly, you were greeted with the smell of books, musty and delicious.
The library was pleasantly full, but not uncomfortably so, just right for a Saturday afternoon.
You wandered through the stacks, in the YA books, downstairs in the adult books, through the audio books. You weren't even sure what you were really looking for.
Suddenly, a book caught your eye. It was on a shelf, way at the top, in the YA section. You reached up on tiptoe, and then, you almost had it, but another hand snatched it out of your way.
Your gaze followed the hand, which led to a wrist, which led to a pale forearm, which led to a well-muscled upper arm. Your eyes travelled up to the stranger's face. He was around your age, perhaps slightly older, with big blue eyes, messy black hair, slight buck teeth, and black rectangular-framed glasses. "Oh, I'm sorry!" He apologized.
You blushed as it dawned on you.
